Couples Ministry

The New Life Couples Ministry is to assist married Christians to grow and enhance the institution of Christian marriage.  Its purpose is that investing in healthy marriages avoids the salvaging and despair or martial strife.

As all married individuals may experience problems, the couple's ministry provides spiritual support, a listening ear, and assistance during difficult periods.  It is designed to direct couples to Christ, and to assist in reuniting and strengthening weak marriages.

The vision of the Couples Ministry is the perfecting and equipping of married adults to build up Christ's body, the Church (Ephesians 4:12) by helping couples to first build relationships with God and then one another.

Singles Ministry

This outreach ministry is devoted to the singles ministry -- more specifically, the well being of single Christians.  We strongly believe that singles are an extremely valuable resource in the sight of God.  All of God's children are "special", but singles are unique.  Singles can focus on God and the things of God without the standard distractions encountered by those who are married.

The foundational scripture for this ministry is found in 1Corinthians 7:32, which states: But I would have you without carefulness.  He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord.  

What we have found, however, is that most single Christians who are not married are concerned mostly with being married.  This mindset presents and creates several problems in the Christian community.  Our goal is to help eradicate or minimize this problem by encouraging individuals to be built up in the faith during this special season in their lives.  We call it "Maximizing Singleness".
